Jay Herratti (CEO):
Jay Herratti is the CEO of Citysearch, a leading provider of local search services. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of the Citysearch business.Mr. Herratti previously served as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning for IAC, where he was responsible for collaborating with and supporting the businesses of IAC in the development of their strategic plans. While at IAC, he also briefly served as interim CEO of IAC Advertising Solutions. Prior to that, Mr. Herratti served as the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for HSN and Electronic Retailing. In this capacity, he worked closely with senior management to chart IAC’s course for expansion in the broad world of direct to consumer retailing. Before joining HSN, Mr. Herratti held the position of Senior Vice President of E-Business Strategy and Development for Federated Department Stores. In this role, he led the company’s development of a direct-to-consumer division with the acquisition and consolidation of multiple catalog and online businesses. He also championed Federated’s multi-channel integration initiative, and was in charge of its cross-division bridal registry business and its partnership with weddingchannel.com. Before Federated Department Stores, Mr. Herratti held numerous senior level positions with Boo.com Group Ltd, The Boston Consulting Group and GE Capital. At BCG he worked with clients in Retail, Media, and Financial Services. Prior to that he founded and operated “White by Herratti,” his own chain of novelty retail specialty stores selling all white apparel and gifts for women. Jay has a B.S. in Business & Management from the University of Maryland at College Park, and an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainbleu, France. A native of Israel, Mr. Herratti currently resides in Los Angeles.
