Gary Baker (CEO):
Gary Baker has focused his 20-year career on the intersection of the web, television, and interactive media. Gary is CEO of ClipBlast!, which he founded in 2004. With a focus on broadband, the Web and multimedia, Gary oversees the company's video search technologies, distribution strategies, business development, and operations.
Gary Baker previously served as a Management Consultant with IBM Interactive Media, leading Internet strategy, real-time events, live Webcasts and Web application development for some of IBM's largest clients and live-event sponsorships, including Olympics, Wimbledon, US Open Tennis, The Grammys, Hertz, Toyota, CompUnited States, PGA Tour, and many more. Gary was strategic in growing IBM Interactive Media into a $400 million operation, which included building six Interactive Media studio operations in the US, including the flagship location in Santa Monica, CA. Gary also consulted and provided strategic direction to CinemaNow, Inc., the first Web property to offer video-on-demand. ClipBlast! is Gary 's second Web start-up; in 1995 he founded and later sold Catalog Site, an early e-commerce pioneer, in 1997.
