One of the most popular careers in broadcasting, is being a radio Disc Jockey . It puts you in charge of what people should hear . It allows you to have influence over a larger audience than you may have ever imagined. If you are one of those people who loves to talk, and you KNOW you sound good on the mic and people never seem to get tire of listening to you, then you might have what it takes to be "AMERICA'S TOP JOCK RADIO STAR", . We are looking for you to audition this summer for a New TV Reality Series, where contestants on the show are judged on weekly basis juggling many things at a time , they will be challenged to opening a show's segment, introducing songs, running contests on the air , handling celebrity interviews , running movie promos on the air , playing recorded commercials, announcing live commercials , talking on the phone with listeners , taking requests, keeping the station's log and much more , all the while running a "tight board" and maintaining a friendly, controlled on -air personality in front of AMERICA . The judges will narrow down hopefuls from all walks of life - to 15 semi-finalists will compete for a one year contract with a major broadcasting corporation and also have their own live radio show syndicated to the nation . Viewers will then get a chance each week to vote for their favorite jock via telephone and text messaging and determine who gets off the air and who goes to become " America's Top Jock" .
