   an annual budget of more than $300,000, funding a wide variety of  

   projects for Barrington schools    

        Served on the Publicity Committee, writing articles and taking

   photographs for periodic newsletters

        Headed up the Speakers Bureau, arranging and giving

   presentations to various groups in the community

        Emceed the 2005 Golf Outing dinner and live auction, which

   netted more than $40,000 for Foundation projects

                                 

BHS Boys Basketball Booster Club

      Board of Directors (2004-present)

           Supervised sales of more than $20,000 in advertising in the 

      varsity basketball program; assisted in the design of ads and the      

      layout of the program

            Arranged team sponsorships by local businesses; helped                    

      organize preseason banquets

 

Keep 220 Great referendum campaign

     Media spokesperson (2005-2006)

          Worked with Barrington school district officials and leaders of 

     the citizens' to shape messages in support of a referendum to fund

     construction of two new middle schools and renovate the district's

     two existing middle schools; gave interviews to local newspapers

          Spoke to more than 30 groups during the campaign (PTO's,       

     business organizations, civic groups and local boards)
