Alex Campbell, Co-Founder and CEO
In 1998, at the age of 22, Alex Campbell co-founded Vibes Media with his childhood friend Jack Philbin. The two co-founders, who grew up in New Canaan, CT, started their company in a one-bedroom apartment in Chicago's Wrigleyville neighborhood. Due to Alex's leadership and 4 years of profitable triple digit growth, the company sits firmly at the top of a rapidly expanding industry.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has spoken on many panels as an expert in non-traditional and mobile marketing. He has been quoted in many print publications including INC, The New York Times and The Chicago Tribune. He is a member of the Mobile Marketing Association where he serves on the Mobile Strategies and Best Practices Committee.

Jack Philbin, Co-Founder and President
Jack Philbin spearheads the company's business development and the overall direction of the company. As President, Jack has become an influential leader in the wireless industry, and is a sought-after speaker at wireless industry events. Jack has been instrumental in building text messaging as a marketing tool and proving its value to a range of clients, from wireless carriers, to agencies, to consumer marketers. Jack is an entrepreneur and builder, with specific expertise in strategic client management and consumer marketing. Jack introduced the radio industry to mobile interaction by setting up the first cross carrier text message request line in the U.S. The Vibes iRadio™ platform launched with KTTB B96 in the summer of 2003. In 2004 Jack brought Vibes messaging programs to the world of consumer-packaged goods by executing programs for McDonald's, Anheuser-Busch, and Hershey's.

Jack is a graduate of Boston College and received his MBA from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg School of Management.

Doug Rothrock, Vice President of Marketing and Sales
Doug joined Vibes in 2002 and oversees the marketing and product development of the company. Doug is an award-winning consumer marketer with 20 years of broad-based marketing experience, including 10 years in the mobile telecom industry and 10 years in the advertising agency business. As one of the original members of Aerial Communications, a wireless start-up in the U.S., he was instrumental in building the marketing team and developing the positioning, brand and launch plans from scratch. After Aerial merged with VoiceStream, British Telecom in London in the Global Mobile Internet group hired him as Head of Global Marketing Communications to launch the Genie mobile Internet portal brand in Europe and Asia. Prior to Aerial, he headed up advertising, promotions and CRM for Ameritech Cellular in Chicago.

Before working in the telecom industry, Doug spent 10 years in the advertising agency business working at J. Walter Thompson and then DDB. Doug is a graduate of the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Doug is an avid windsurfer and world traveler with bizarre tales of crossing the Sahara desert, dodging gunfire in Addis Ababa, crossing the Indian Ocean to Karachi with refugees from Mozambique on a freighter, and traveling overland across south Asia from Katmandu to Istanbul.
