Florian Brody
Vice President Marketing, Envizio Inc

Florian Brody is co-founder and Vice President Marketing at Envizio Inc, a San Francisco based start-up developing an in-store mobile payment and targeted offer platform. He was responsible for marketing at PaymentOne. Before joining PaymentOne, Brody served as Vice President Marketing at Cimbal, and Visuvi, a start-up developing visual search solutions. He led marketing at Amazon’s A9.com, served as Director Business Development and Marketing at Red Herring and co-founded and led a start-up in San Francisco. At the Voyager Company he co-invented the first electronic books in 1991. Earlier he built the multimedia market for Apple Austria and developed library automation software for academic libraries at the Austrian National Library.

He held the chair for multimedia studies in Salzburg, Austria and was a member of the graduate faculty of Art Center College of Design, Pasadena. Brody is a frequent speaker at international conferences and is published in multiple languages.
