Mr. Fleckenstein is a 30 year professional in business management, engineering, finance, manufacturing, quality and productivity.

Prior to forming the Orien Group, Ltd., in the United States and Orien Pacific, Ltd., in China, he was an International Board Director for Moody International. Mr. Fleckenstein joined Moody International Inc., in March of 1994, and was appointed to the position of President one year later. He was appointed as Director to the Group International Board in 1996. Prior to leaving Moody in February of 2007, he refocused Group growth and development activities; corporate governance; sales; marketing; and, new services design and development, basing himself in Shanghai, China.

Under Mr. Fleckenstein's guidance and leadership, the Moody International Group grew from less than $20m in revenue to over $300m in 2006. As one of the original five Board Directors he was instrumental in taking the company through a management and private equity sale in April, 2004, for $55m, and again in February, 2007 for $318m, a period in which the company grew 100% organically.

Prior to joining Moody International, Mr. Fleckenstein was the Managing Director of The Q21 Group, an engineering, productivity, quality and forensic consulting company, and previous to that, for 17 years, held several key senior engineering, manufacturing, project management, sales and executive management positions with The Youngstown Welding & Engineering Company.

Mr. Fleckenstein has written and published numerous professional and technical papers in such fields as work process design, engineering forensics, corporate governance and business management. He has spoke to government and industry groups around the world over the past 30 years and has been recognized numerous times for his contributions to industrial technology. Through his career he has held various qualifications and certifications in business; engineering and quality management; commercial nuclear contracting; and, naval/marine architecture.

Under agreements with The National Board, The Ohio Academy of Science and Youngstown State University's Center for Quality and Productivity, he designed and developed educational materials and programs, and lectured in such fields as engineering technology, welding and nondestructive testing, pressure equipment design and certification, metallurgy, protective coatings, foundry processing, statistics, problem solving and time management.

He has chaired and directed various professional and technical society boards and has received numerous industry awards for his work. He has been an active member of five organizations for over two decades including The American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE), The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), The American Society for Quality (ASQ) and The American Welding Society (AWS).

Since turning his focus on China he has built associations with many key organizations and institutes, which are critical to growth and success dynamics of foreign companies working in China or contracting with Chinese companies.

Today, his commercial focus as the MD of Orien Pacific, Ltd., in China, is in assisting Chinese and Foreign companies in various engineering, technical, financial, management, technology and other strategic endeavors.
