Co-founder, SVP of Global Sales and Business Development of Nomadesk, a leading provider of online storage, file sharing and synchronization software that enables users to access, share, synchronize and safeguard files from any location, whether online or offline.

Co-founder and Chairman at Carambla, a real-time marketplace for parking.

Bootstrapped Nomadesk and made it into a revenue generating SaaS-business, geared for growth (revenue CAGR of 271%). Nomadesk was selected by the Guidewire Group during Innovate! 2009 as "the most promising European startup" and is among the Red Herring Europe TOP 100. The company is venture-backed by Gimv and BAMS Angel Fund.

Like to believe I am "startup executive" ;-). A business and team builder with a predilection for disruptive innovation and startup business (SaaS, Utility or "Cloud" Computing); raised over USD 10 million in venture capital (seed, series A and B).

Before founding Nomadesk, I held business development and marketing positions in telecoms and Internet start-up companies. I hold a BS and MS in Bioscience Engineering from Ghent University, and an MBA degree from Vlerick Leuven Ghent Management School.
